Our Policies

Ordering Policy

We strive to ship all orders within 2 business days from the date you place your order. Most orders will arrive within 2-7 business days from the date of shipment via UPS or Fed Ex Ground Service. You may select Express Shipping for an additional charge.

We do everything possible to ensure your gift arrives in perfect condition. Gifts are packed in heavy cardboard boxes surrounded by plenty of packing materials to reduce shifting during shipping. Damages incurred during shipping are the responsibility of the carrier and must be filed with the carrier accordingly. Please retain all packing materials for the claims process.

There are 2 situations in which the State of Ohio requires that we collect sales tax:

  • Orders where the credit card billing address is in Ohio.
  • Orders which will be shipped to an address in Ohio.

  • Shipping Policy

    Upgrading the method of shipping does not change the length of time to assemble and ship your order. It only reduces the amount of time the package will spend in transit. Please note that Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays are not considered delivery dates and they do not count towards the time a package is in transit to its destination.

    Various shipping methods and charges are displayed for each item that you select, so during the checkout process you may upgrade to Express Shipping if you desire.

    We ship all of our baskets anywhere in the Continental United States, except we do not ship them to PO Boxes, APO Boxes or FPO Boxes. We also ship some baskets to Canada, where noted. Note: We only offer standard ground shipping to Canada at this time.

    Redelivery charges will apply to orders requiring reshipment due to incorrect delivery information provided during the checkout process. This charge is usually between $10-$20 per gift basket and will be charged to your credit card.

    Gift Baskets from the Heart will not be held responsible for shipping delays which result from processing issues on the part of UPS, Fed Ex or other circumstances beyond our control. During peak holiday seasons, delivery times are not guaranteed by UPS or Fed Ex, so please place your order allowing additional time for shipping.

    Cancellation and Returns Policy

    We take great pride in beginning our processing of your order as soon as it is received, so we are unable to accept cancellations, once you have placed your order with us. Due to the majority of our gift baskets containing food products, gift baskets are not returnable and all sales are final. Please note that we are not responsible if your recipient does not like the theme of the gift or the taste of the food.

    Privacy Policy

    Gift Baskets from the Heart's primary concern is the protection of online privacy for all our clients and website visitors. Shopping with us through our secure website is one of the safest ways to shop. All information is encrypted, protecting against disclosure to third parties. We collect only information that you voluntarily submit to us. We also collect payment information so that we may process orders for the items that you purchase from us. We do not share, sell, rent or trade your personal information with anyone, unless we are required to do so in order to conform to or comply with legal requirements to protect the rights of Gift Baskets from the Heart or to act under exigent circumstances to protect the safety of Gift Baskets from the Heart.

    Billing & Shipping Information: During the checkout process, we ask for certain personal identifiable information that is necessary to process your order, such as name, address and phone number to do everything possible to prevent credit card fraud. We also collect the name, address and phone number of recipient for the purpose of shipping your order.

    Consent: You consent by using our website, to the collection and use of information by Gift Baskets from the Heart

    E-Mail Address: We ask clients to provide us with their e-mail address so that we may communicate with you if there is a problem with the order that you placed. Clients will also receive special offers and announcements from us via e-mail, and may opt-out from our mailing list at any time by contacting us.

    What Are Computer Cookies: The cookies we use are pieces of data your browser stores on your computer's hard drive at our request. Cookies enable us to determine when you last visited us. We do not store any of your personal information with this data.

    What Information Is Collected & Why: Use of various forms for clients to request information and to purchase products is collected so that we may process your order and enhance the services available to our clients and visitors, making each visit as unique as possible.

    Substitution Policy

    Our designs and inventory are constantly changing to keep up with new trends and styles, so we reserve the right to change any container or its contents with a product of equal or greater value at anytime.
